Most of us do already use the outside box to drop books off. The rub sometimes can be parking to do just that. Would love to see a box we could reach from car.

Thanks for the suggestion. We have long had this on the wish list, as you are far from the first person to request this. Unfortunately, because of traffic patterns and safety concerns, we would have to give up a minimum of 5-6 parking spaces to do this. So we are going to have to weigh our priorities very carefully. Just yesterday we were discussing the possibility of dedicating 1 or 2 spots near the return slot for drop-off use only as at least a partial answer to your dilemma. We will continue to explore ways we can make returning items more convenient. Stay tuned!

ReplyDeleteWould like to second this thought, our old library in PA had this and it was much used. Even if drive in drop off was located elsewhere on property or even in town, this would be a big help
